A Little About Us
Arena Valley Acres began as a simple farm with a love of animals. Over the years, that love grew from raising dairy goats we considered pets, to registered Boer goats, and eventually to our beloved Australian Shepherds.
As our family and farm continued to grow, a poodle joined the family—because, as we like to say, everyone needs at least one poodle! From that unexpected addition came our love for Aussiedoodles and the wonderful qualities they bring together. Their intelligence, loyalty, people-oriented personalities, trainability, and wonderful temperaments quickly captured our hearts.
Today, our dogs are an important part of life here at Arena Valley Acres. They are loved, talked to, exercised, groomed, and included in our everyday lives. We believe that raising wonderful dogs begins with giving them a wonderful start.
We invest in veterinary care, health testing, genetic testing, proper nutrition, socialization, and plenty of individual attention. Our goal is to raise healthy, confident, well-rounded companions and to thoughtfully match each puppy with the family that is right for them.
We don't just raise dogs—we raise family members.
My Why!
People often ask me, “It would be so hard to give up the puppies; how do you do it?”
Is it hard? Yes. I watch each puppy come into this world and grow through every stage—from sleepy newborns to curious, playful puppies ready to begin their lives with their new families.
I have always loved dogs and animals. To me, dogs represent unconditional love, loyalty, and a joy that can brighten even the hardest day. Raising puppies reminds me so much of raising children. I love watching them learn, discover the world, and develop into the wonderful individuals they are meant to become.
Through this journey, I have been blessed with incredible families. One of the most special parts is hearing from families long after their puppy has gone home—receiving Christmas cards, birthday updates, and stories about the joy their dog has brought into their lives.
Knowing that I have played a small part in bringing that kind of love and happiness to a family is priceless.
That is my why.
